Chaos Emeralds

The servers are, the seven chaos. Chaos is power, power is enriched by the heart. The controller is the one that unifies the chaos.

This is the chant associated with the Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald. There are seven chaos emeralds in total, and one Master Emerald. The Master Emerald is located on Angel Island and keeps it floating high in the sky. The Chaos Emeralds were originally enshrined around the Master Emerald, but somehow, they have now been scattered across the planet Mobius, waiting to be found.


Each of the emeralds possesses god-like power, and those who possess the rare ability known as Chaos Control can tap into this power for their own use. Whoever successfully manages to gather all 7 chaos emeralds will become a god, provided they meet the requirements. See the lore on Chaos Control for more info.

The Chaos Emeralds are small, about the size of a person's hand, but the Master Emerald is huge, nearly twice the size of the average Mobian. If the Master Emerald is moved from its shrine or broken, Angel Island plunges into the sea until it is restored.

It is said that the Master Emerald possesses unlimited power and is able to negate the powers of the Chaos Emeralds, but none have managed to test this theory yet.


The Chaos Emeralds possess two different reserves of power. The first is their positive energy, and the second is their negative energy. Positive energy enables the emeralds to do miraculous abilities such as traveling through time, healing the injured, erecting protective barriers, and so on. Negative energy enables the emeralds to unleash devastating and even apocalyptic powers such as blasts of energy, world shaking explosions, tremendous increase in strength, and so on.
